AS this week went by, it seemed like I was on constant GO with NO break, but we ended it with a BANG! Friday afternoon, Landyn had a birthday party to attend for Chaney and Holden. The kids were to dress in either their cheerleader uniform or football jersey so they could all get in team spirit mode together prior to the CA football game. BOY DID THEY! They were playing with noise makers, wearing colored beads, decorating the cars/trucks, and playing with the CA PANTHER mascot, which was a HUGE hit! After the party, we all meet up close to the school so all the kids could ride in the back of the trucks with their pom poms, noise makers, signs, and flags for the grand entrance into the game.
As I was riding in the back of the truck with the kids listening to them holler, "GO CA, GO CA, GO CA....", I was thinking how exciting this must be for them because it was exciting to ME. :) I was also thinking, "OH MY....She is only in 1st grade...I didn't do this until HIGH SCHOOL"! OH WELL, it was a blast and they were all SO CUTE!
I do have to adjust to them just running around like "wild Indians" during the game since Landyn was sure to tell me, "Everyone else gets to"! Gotta LOVE that LINE!
